On behalf of PYPA Eastern Region, we wish you all a very happy, prosperous and blessed new year 2009!
It is indeed our pleasure to serve you as the Executive Committee of PYPA for this New Year.

Our prayer is that God will use PYPA as a tool in the extension of His Kingdom and for the betterment of the Young people of the Eastern Region.

The "Moses generation" is slowly passing us by and the "Joshua generation" has to take up the torch. When we hear the words "Joshua generation" often what passes through our minds is the great victories that Joshua led his people into, after the death of Moses. We are reminded of the various leadership qualities that Joshua possessed and we have read numerous books written about the same.

However, one silent factor in the life of Joshua is seen at various occasions is that he was a man of prayer who interceded for his people. One example of this is seen after the defeat at the city of Ai.

This year let us strive to be people who will stand in the gap for the lost generation. Let us work for Him who has called us. Let everything that we do bring glory to Him alone.
